Lighting manufacturers, electronic component suppliers, technology companies, companies that develop automation solutions for homes and buildings from all over the world are preparing to participate in Light + Building, the biggest event in the lighting industry.
The companies started to send their stands and products to Germany for exhibition. So, which country is the most attending at the fair?
A total of 2,560 companies participate in Light + Building 2020. 696 of these companies come from Germany. 393 companies are participating from China. 134 companies from Italy come to the fair. It is stated that 134 companies from Hong Kong will participate. Companies from Turkey are showing intense participation in the fair, 107 companies are preparing for the fair. The 10 countries that sent the most participants to the fair are respectively; Germany, China, Italy, Hong Kong, Turkey, Spain, Poland, Taiwan, Netherlands, United Kingdom.
Participants density in Turkey, ranks 5th among 59 countries. This also shows that Turkish lighting industry having an important place in the global market.
The uncertainty in China still continues due to the coronavirus outbreak. This uncertainty marks the second biggest participant from China, Light + Building 2020, which is waiting for a difficult period. The outbreak and the fear caused by the outbreak may cause the number of exhibitors and visitors to decrease significantly.
Messe Frankfurt, the organizer of Light + Building 2020, states that they take the virus very seriously and that the risk of transmission of coronavirus disease at the fair in Frankfurt is very low, based on the information they received from the authorities.
