The 11th Amsterdam Light Festival will take place from December 1, 2022, to January 22, 2023. This year’s topic is Imagine Beyond.

The 20 selected ideas among hundreds of concepts prepared within the scope of the theme will be exhibited on the city’s canals at the festival. It will be possible to visit the works on foot or participate in bicycle and boat tours between 17.00 and 23.00 every day.

The organization, which aims to introduce and encourage the art of light to new generations since the first festival in 2012, will ensure that approximately 1.000 students from primary schools in Amsterdam take an active part in the festival this year. In the company of an artist, students will develop their creativity by contributing to a work and witnessing the transformation of light and technology into art.

It is all free to visit these works exhibited in public areas.

We will share our observations with you after the festival.
