Smart Lighting System Launched in Antalya

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has launched the smart lighting systems in the parks which are chosen the pilot region. In the parks that use the smart lighting system of Logiba Lighting, light levels will be adjusted automatically according to daylight.

Special design luminaire used in parks were produced by SIRRAC.

Within the scope of “Smart City Project” of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, smart lighting system was launched into Yavuz Özcan and Serdengeçti Parks. In the parks chosen as pilot region, there are street lights that increase or decrease their light according to light level of daylight.

Smart lighting system, which will contribute significantly to the city’s energy consumption, also is an important part of the smart city project. Within the scope of the project, Yavuz Özcan and Serdengeçti Parks were chosen as pilot regions for smart lighting.

There are street lamps in the parks, which increase or decrease their light according to the light level of daylight. The lighting that is sensitive to movements, increases the light when a citizen nears, and decreases when he moves away. The system will be widely used in Antalya, with a system that can be managed remotely and the level of the light can be adjusted, 40% energy saving in city lighting will be achieved.

Can be managed remotely

Smart lighting systems provide more efficient use of resources by protecting the environment with the energy saving. Street lamps which do not illuminate for days and are waiting to be repaired, are replaced by a new smart system where remote trouble shooting can be done. Checking the location of lights from the control center, on, off, light dimming of clock based lamps, checking the lifespan of lamps, daylight based on/off and light dimming, the motion sensing will be included in the functions of smart lighting system.

Within the scope of the smart city concept; Smart Management (Mubim-Local Authority Information System), Smart Health (Panic Button and Chronic Patient Checking, GPS Based Voice Alert System), Smart Traffic (Transport Master Plan, Smart Adaptive Junction), Smart Security (KGYS), Smart Environment (Smart Watering, Noise Measurement, Integrated Recycling Plants Electric Vehicles), Smart Energy (Smart Lighting, Solar-Powered  Plantations), Urban Transformation Areas are included.
